  • What kind of products does your company carry?
    • As our name suggests, FancyPetTag.com carries a wide collections of beautifully crafted FREE engraved Personalized dog / cat ID tags. We also carry a wide selection of Fancy Pet Accessories and Pet Supplies for dogs & cats. From pet tags to collars, leashes to harnesses, summer dresses to winter coats, cool breezy beds to warm cozy beds, Fancy carriers to Pet Safety products, Personalized bowls to Personalized storage boxes, we have all that you and your pet desires.
  • Why is there only one price per style?
    • At FancyPetTags.com, we want to make things simple as we treat all pets equal and we believe you should not pay according to the size you need; hence, we have a one low standard price system for all sizes no matter if you want a XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL or XXXL for all products.
  • If your company only charges one price, why would customers requiring a small size need to pay more?
    • We realize that customers requiring XXS may feel that they are paying more to average out the final price for other sizes. Rest assured, our pricing structure is based on our philosophy to treat all pets equal. Truth behold, cost prices for most items are relatively the same for all sizes; hence, unlike other retailers, we simply do not mark up the huge profits for larger sizes so we can keep our prices at a low standard price for all sizes. 
  • What are the sizes of tag you offer?
    • We offer different sizes of tags based on different designs. All available sizes for each design are listed on each product detail page. Please note actual size may vary slightly as all tags are custom made. 
  • How much is engraving?
    • Engraving is always free with FancyPetTags.com. Please note the engraving characters limit(s) as noted on each style which includes spaces and dashes (they count as 1 character also as they take up a character's space)..
  • How do I select the image / font / symbol to be engraved on my pet tag?
    • The available options of image / font / symbol are represented by letter / number found in the image selection image / font selection image / symbol selection image. Simply select the corresponding letter / number in the appropriate drop down menu to select the desired choice. Please see individual product detail page for specific style instructions. 
  • Will the product / engraving be exactly the same as shown on images?
    • Every effort has been put into ensuring our images are as close to the exact production pieces; however, images are simply a representation of the final product and may not be exactly 100% as shown. 
  • Do you carry any other products besides pet tags?
    • Yes, as our name suggests, Fancy Pet Tags is our main product line. We do carry all sorts of other Fancy pet accessories including collars, leashes, harness, pet sunglasses, clothing, personalized pet products, pet bowls, leash holders, clippers, carriers, car protectors, etc. including your daily need of poop bags. We try to offer a variety of fancy products your four legged family member may need.
  • What size (collar, harness, clothing and decorative products) should I get my puppy or kitten?
    • Depending on their current growth stage and breed of your puppy or kitten, they may appear tiny or small right now, but their growth spurts are quick and short. Always measure the neck and chest of your babies before purchasing for your little ones. Remember, with puppies and kittens, larger are almost always better as they can always grow "into" it but cannot shrink back down to a smaller size. Depending on the gender, breed and parents, puppies and kittens are generally on a continued growth spurt until 8-12 months.
    • What currency is your pricing based upon?
      • Our site will automatically detect your location and display prices in your local currency. To confirm or to manually adjust to a specific currency, you can view / adjust our currency convertor at the bottom of each of our page if desired. 
    • How much is shipping?
      • Our standard shipping rate with the exception of the cities listed below is $5.99 CAD per shipment. For orders over $75 CAD; we will include free shipping for your order. 
      • Puerto Rico / U.S. Virgin Islands - Calculated standard rate will apply at checkout. For orders over $75 CAD, a reduced shipping rate will apply.
    • Do you ship Internationally?
      • We offer international shipping. Transit time may vary. Duties and taxes may apply and are not included in the standard shipping charge or free shipping offered.
    • When will my order ship?
      • All our pet tags and personalized items are custom made to order and requires varies production time once your order has been received. In order to personalize each piece and to ensure the quality of our products, please allow 5-7 business days for production. 
      • Non-custom made items will typically ship within 1-5 business days.
    • If I order multiple items, will they ship together?
      • We do try to consolidate shipments as best as we can to help save the environment; however, all items are treated as separate orders and may arrive in separate packages to ensure there are minimal  delays in processing your order. Don't worry, you will only be charged 1 shipping charge per order and not per item and most likely, shipping will be free anyway for most multiple item orders.
    • When will I receive my order once ready to ship?
      • Once your order is ready to ship, it will arrive at your location in approximately 7-14 business days, worldwide. Please allow additional shipping time for rural, remote areas, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska, U.S. Virgin Islands and Military postal addresses. If your order have not arrived, please contact us through the "Contact Us" page for timely support.
    • How are my items delivered?
      • Most of our shipments are handed over to your local post office. In certain major cities, last mile transit companies maybe used for the last mile or final delivery.
      • If your civic address is not serviced (no door-to-door delivery service) by your local post office and have been assigned a PO box address, please use the PO box address as your shipping address. Shipments to non-serviced addresses or non-deliverable due to incorrect addresses given (regardless if forwarding address has been requested at local post office) will likely be discarded and thrown away by local post office and cannot be retrieved, forwarded nor returned to sender. We will still attempt to assist with your shipment as best as we can; but you will not be refunded in such cases and buyer will be solely responsible for the lost of the shipment. Please ensure your shipping address is correct, complete and serviceable.
    • I received an email with my tracking number but I am not able to track with the provided number or it is not showing any tracking details?
      • Our shipping labels are pre-generated ahead of time prior to actual shipments; hence, you will receive an email notification in advance with a trackable link and movement will occur in a few days once the shipment leaves our facility. Once your shipment enters the last mile tracking range, you should be able to track your package through your local post office site using the provided tracking number.
    • Can I adjust my order after placing the order?
      • We understand mistakes can happen, so adjustments are allowed only within the first (1) hour after your order has been submitted for personalized products. Please drop us a line at CustomerCare@FancyPetTags.com with your order # and change request. Please note that we will make every best effort to make the changes, but is not a guarantee that the change(s) will be made.
    • I just received my brand new item, why is there a chemical smell?
      • In order to ship your products more efficiently, there maybe items (especially bed or items made with memory foam) that the supplier will vacuum seal to shrink down the size of the packaging; however, in doing so, the VOC used in the manufacturing process that would otherwise dissipate remain trapped in the package with nowhere to go. When the vacuum seal is broken, oxygen interacts with the compressed material and starts to expand and restore to it's original shape, these previously trapped VOCs are then released as a gas, causing the distinct off-gassing smell. This "new mattress smell" phenomena when you first open the vacuum sealed packaging or commonly known as "off-gassing" and it's normal and very common with new mattresses (the kind we humans sleep on), new car interiors and memory foam products. As your product shipped directly from our supplier right off the assembly line, the product does not have enough time to "off-gas" on a store shelf like items you purchase from a regular store. Simply let the compressed item sit in well ventilated area for 5-7 days (or less, depending on the amount of smell) and the smell will dissipate completely. 
    • What is your cancellation / refund policy?
      • Since all pet tag items and or personalized items are custom made with your own personalized name and information, it cannot be changed, cancelled or returned after the order has been submitted past the first hour. Please double check information before submitting your order and utilize the first hour grace period for any last minute changes. All sales are FINAL after such time.
      • All non-pet tag or non-personalized items that are NOT custom made products are subject to a 14-days exchange / return policy upon delivery of the product. Re-stocking fee (based on regular priced item, not sale / discounted price, less shipping) may apply. Please ensure you double check sizing requirements prior to order submission to avoid unnecessary charges / delay. The responsibility of return shipping charges is based on circumstances and must be assessed by the Customer Care Representative. All items for exchange / return must be in brand new unused condition and in its original packaging to qualify for refund or exchange. Shipping charges paid are non-refundable. Please contact Customer Care at CustomerCare@FancyPetTags.com for further details or instructions.
      • Please note refund WILL NOT be issued for incorrectly given shipping addresses (including non-serviced civic addresses by your local post office regardless if forwarding address is on file with post office) OR failing to pick-up packages left at Post Office and returned back to sender: Your shipment will always be delivered with at least one delivery attempt. If delivery attempt was unsuccessful and package is required to be picked-up at the Post Office, the Post Office will only hold your package for a certain amount of time before returning back to the sender. Should you leave the package past the required pick-up time and the return process started by the Post Office, we will not be responsible and cannot refund your order. We will do everything we can to help re-ship the package once the seller receives the return, but this is NOT a guarantee and will take time for shipper to receive, inspect and re-ship.

      • We respect all customers privacy and will never sell any personal information obtained through your transaction with our site.
